Playpen is part3 of the ninefold series Powerplay, the culmination of the power of child-like play. Papercloth is gelli prints on deli paper glued on muslin, and then pasted on MDF board as a canvas.
The riot of color and texture celebrates imaginary rooms to fulfill your child-like dreams. ‘What-ifs,’ lead to amusing encounters to test new realities for the viewer.
Line, mark making, and space symbolize thoughts and emotions. It strengthens the influence of the onlooker’s experiences.
